How much does a service call cost?
We charge a straightforward diagnostic visit to find the problem, and we’ll always confirm the current fee when you book. Once we’ve diagnosed it, you get one upfront price for the repair itself — approved by you before we start. No hourly billing, no surprises.
Should I repair my system or replace it?
As a rule of thumb: if the system is under 10 years old and the repair is modest, repair usually makes sense. If it’s older, needs a major repair, or breaks down often, replacement often costs less over the next few years. We’ll lay out both options with real numbers and let you decide — no pressure either way.
How often should my system be serviced?
Twice a year is the classic answer — once before cooling season and once before heating season. Regular tune-ups catch worn parts early, keep efficiency up, and most manufacturers require documented maintenance to keep warranties valid. That’s exactly what our seasonal maintenance plan, the Carolina Comfort Club, is built around — one tune-up each spring and fall, with priority scheduling for members.
Do you offer emergency service?

What brands do you service?
We service and repair all major brands of furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps, and we’ll give you an honest recommendation on new equipment based on your home and budget — not on which brand pays us best.
Why is one room always hotter or colder than the rest?
